Born in Poland in 1921 and at 18 immigrated to Eretz Israel with Youth Aliyah.

Lived at first in kibbutz Givat Hashlosha, but soon moved to the Betar company at Rosh Pina.

In 1940 joined the British army and served six years. On demobilization, joined the Irgun and filled various positions.

Took part in military operations, exploiting the experience he had acquired in the British armed forces.

Killed in battle for Ramle in May 1948 while trying to rescue a wounded comrade.
